1) Literature books – you can turn them in at anytime – I will check them from the stacks.

  • Make sure you clean your book out.
  • Make sure you put your book in the right stack.

2) Over-due library books need to be turned in ASAP.

3) English 11 exam takers you will need a #2 pencil for the exam.

4) Semester Exam Exemption list is by the classroom door.

ENGLISH 11

  1. Seniors needing to take exams will do so today!
  2. Minority Report (TUES, WED, THURS)
  3. Vocabulary Packet — I will pick 30 of these questions for the exam — In essence I am giving you 30% of the test!
  4. Grading Vocabulary Packet Thursday (Wednesday for 7th period).

SHORT STORIES

  1. Seniors needing to take exams will do so Wednesday!
  2. Eternal Sunshine — Look for traits of PKD-like themes — time, reality, etc.

AP LITERATURE

  1. Vacation Project — We start presenting them Tuesday.  – You have 5 minutes at the most.
  2. We’ll go in alphabetical order with the first person from your group.

  2. Define the four bolded terms and copy the list of “Features of the Modern Short Story” on 730 -1; Define vocabulary on 775; Answer questions 1-8 on 783 — TURN THIS IN TO THE BOX AND THE VOCAB WORKSHEET (PARTS A, B & C)!

  4. We will listen to it today and finish up our last work from the literature book tomorrow.
